About Kathmandu University

Kathmandu University (KU) is an autonomous, not for profit, self-funded public university created by the Act of Parliament in 1991. The university has a commitment to excellence in a broad variety of classical and professional subjects and quality education. It has its main campus at Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok.

Kathmandu University functions in seven Schools namely Arts, Education, Engineering, Law, Management, Medical Sciences, and Science. The university provides a wide spectrum of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees in information technology, arts and law, medicine, management, science and engineering.
