About Bagmati University
Bagmati University, also known as Bagmati Province University, is a public university created with the Provincial Higher Education Act of 2078 by the Government of Bagmati Province. It was formally established on Jestha 25, 2081 BS (7th June 2024) with its headquarter at Hetauda, Makwanpur.
The university's vision is to deliver quality and internationally competitive higher education, foster research, innovation, entrepreneurship and skills. Currently it functions under three major faculties – Faculty of Science & Technology, Faculty of Management & Law and Faculty of Education & Social Sciences.
Bagmati University provides degrees and diplomas in various fields such as engineering, information technology, health sciences, management, law and education.
